Stop falling out and breakage 1st grew 4 to 5 inches below shoulder. Made mistake used protein treatment- broke hair. 2nd time Sahel Ambunu grew again then Cancer 2022 took all my hair so now using Sahel Ambunu again.....see the bushy ponytail. Hopefully, no more surprises! It really strengthens my hair.
It’s too early to speak about length retention, but mixing Chebe powder with my conditioner leaves my hair soft and manageable. I look forward to seeing results after long-term use

My curls are more defined and hair is over softer and smoother. I kept the chebe on my hair for about a week and a half and reapplied the chebe every 5 days. I really appreciate this product. It shows real results.
I have been using this hair mask maybe three weeks now (possibly a month) and my hair reacts very well to it. It’s very moisturizing but most importantly I’ve noticed my strands feel stronger and maybe a little thicker. There’s a bit of grit that takes time rinsing out but overall I love this mask. It’s a bit messy but if you section and take your time applying with a shower cap after it will be a breeze. I will definitely purchase again.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Ambunu! The slip is amazing I haven’t seen ANYTHING like this product. I had some faux locs in for 2 months and my hair locked. I wore my hair for a week or so trying to figure out what to do. I was very upset because I was growing my hair and didn’t want to cut it. I remembered that I had some ambunu and it released my hair with very little hair loss. This is my second order. I love it and I am a believer!
Using Chebe on a regular basis has strengthened and thickened my hair tremendously! It is the consistency of application. It is no different than regularly applying lotion to moistened skin after a bath. Routine. That is the commonality. Treat the application of Chebe as you would any other self care routine. I’m going for the chebe routine for this fall and winter, just taking it 1 session at a time, I’ve put it in twice already with a 5 day gap. It’s pretty intense, but would really like to grow my fine, thin hair to a little past shoulder length and this seems like my best bet. Wish me luck that I can stay consistent and that I will see the fruits of my labor.

I applied and massaged the African Nomads Hair Butter into very, very dry 4C hair before attempting to moisten my hair with water. I wanted to put it to the test to determine if this hair butter really did moisten very dry strands without wetting the hair while making it manageable so that I could gently detangle it. The butter did not have that ‘greasy’ feel like a lot of products. It actually SATURATED the strands which means the hair butter did not ‘sit’ on the hair, but actually penetrated the strands. Once again, this product DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I found it very easy to detangle with my fingers without pulling my hair. When I started combing my hair starting from the ends, the strands were not being broken due to lack of elasticity of the hair strand. I love this butter and also use it as a part of my moisture sealing process after applying the Chebe to keep my hair even MORE moisturized. I will have to order more as I am going through the jar faster than I expected and I don’t want to run out! Once again, Sahel Cosmetics, thank you for helping me fall in love again with my 4C CROWN! I received my package of Chebe without difficulties. The staff where willing to help me during a shipping error making the process as smooth as butter.
The smell is very earthy and smoky. It does take a little getting used to. Although grainy in texture, it’s not to where the grains will be dropping out of your hair with every step you take. Also it’s not too powdery to where it’s like putting mud or dust on your hair. I like that despite the chebe powder getting deep until my nails, it does not stain them at all. It comes out from under my nails with a simple tweezer or washing my hands with enough sides.. I’ve heard people say, do not put it on your scalp because it will irritate your scalp. I can say I have not experienced any sort of scalp irritation since I’ve been using it. I have not been deliberately putting it on my scalp but fairly close to my scalp. I can only assume that at some point some of the seaway touched my scalp somewhere and has not caused any irritation. Applying it every 3 to 4 days for me is a must. I have noticed significant thickness in my hair, strands and durability. It seems to Sheba adds structure to my hair fibers. I’ve noticed when I comb my hair. I’m not getting big balls of hair left behind. Nor am I getting any snarls or tangled or single strand knots. When I apply the chebe I spray my hair with water then some oil down the shaft then I sprinkle Sheba a root to tip and then I rub it and stroke it in the hair shaft then I apply my Shea butter until it feels smooth then I twist my hair back up and that is my moisture routine every 3 to 4 days. I have noticed significant growth. It appears to be growing quite fast. I have not measured, but I have noticed that my twist are growing out and need to be done at a much faster rate than before. One crude way that I measure to gauge the speed is let’s say when I’m re-testing and it takes me 30 twist of two strands to get to the end of my hair. After two weeks that same twist would take 35 to 36 Twist of those same strands. I was amazed at this, and I can clearly see the difference in length of where my hair falls in my style.. Chebe not for the weak or the lazy. There is work involved, but the results are well worth it. Sahel brand was the first brand that I’ve used for this product. I did use another company when my first product went out and I noticed a big difference in the smell and texture and I chose to go back to the Sahel brand. One thing that I do regret is not using Sheba on my whole head when I first got it. I was reluctant because I thought if it doesn’t work, then I’m going to go bald and I would rather only go bald only one side of my head. Well, quite the opposite has happened. The side that I used the chebe on was growing faster than the side that didn’t have chebe and It was very noticeable. My kids asked if I cut my hair, which I didn’t. What they were noticing was the longer side was so much longer than the non-chebe side that it look like I hade cut it. It was I believe a full inch longer. Once I saw this, then I had regrets and immediately began using it on both sides of my hair. I do have hopes that when I stop using the chebe and have reached my desired hair length, that my hair will retain its strength and structure and not revert back to its weekend State prior to chebe. I did buy a whole lot of it so I do expect to be using this bag for good two years.

I started the chebe powder regimen 2.5 years ago. I was battling alopecia. I'm over 60 years old. I mix chebe powder with a leave in conditioner. I make sure my hair is wet. I apply the solution 3 times a week. I am amazed how my hair has grown. My hair has never been this length. I do not trim my hair any more.

I bought this conditioner when it first came out but didn't use it right away, just waiting for the right time to try it and evaluate it under the right circumstances. Yesterday I saw a 20% discount was being offered on this product so this became the right time; if it's good I'll buy two. My hair was in the right state to judge a new product, dry and parched... Deep conditioned for an hour as usual and the rinse out was magical! The initial application was promising, good slip etc. but the truth is in the rinse out. Needless to say I was very pleased and bought 4 instead of 2! My hair this morning is soft, fluffy, lightweight and shiny. One of the best Conditioners I've tried in a while, highly recommend!
I've been looking for other methods of cleansing my hair besides regular shampoo. Winter is on it's way, I'd like my hair hydrated and clean.

This Amunu I use it as both my shampoo and my conditioner. It detangles my hair very well as well as it leaves my thick 4c hair very soft and curly when dry and soft and wavy when wet. I love it and it will be my go to shampoo and conditioner for the foreseeable future.
It keeps my hair moisturized and shiny. It is easier and more convenient to put in my hair than just the chebe. Also, it does not leave too much oily residue after using.
Same great quality, made my own paste, turned out perfect. I have been buying from Miss Sahel since 2019. My hair has remained all its new growth. I highly recommend you give it a try.
