Using Chebe on a regular basis has strengthened and thickened my hair tremendously! It is the consistency of application. It is no different than regularly applying lotion to moistened skin after a bath. Routine. That is the commonality. Treat the application of Chebe as you would any other self care routine. First Impressions of the Chebe Powder Good 😊packaging arrived intact and well-sealed. The scent and texture seem fresh and authentic. I started using in October of 2025 and have seen length retention in November. Thanks again Sahel cosmetics will purchase more
The smell is very earthy and smoky. It does take a little getting used to. Although grainy in texture, it’s not to where the grains will be dropping out of your hair with every step you take. Also it’s not too powdery to where it’s like putting mud or dust on your hair. I like that despite the chebe powder getting deep until my nails, it does not stain them at all. It comes out from under my nails with a simple tweezer or washing my hands with enough sides.. I’ve heard people say, do not put it on your scalp because it will irritate your scalp. I can say I have not experienced any sort of scalp irritation since I’ve been using it. I have not been deliberately putting it on my scalp but fairly close to my scalp. I can only assume that at some point some of the seaway touched my scalp somewhere and has not caused any irritation. Applying it every 3 to 4 days for me is a must. I have noticed significant thickness in my hair, strands and durability. It seems to Sheba adds structure to my hair fibers. I’ve noticed when I comb my hair. I’m not getting big balls of hair left behind. Nor am I getting any snarls or tangled or single strand knots. When I apply the chebe I spray my hair with water then some oil down the shaft then I sprinkle Sheba a root to tip and then I rub it and stroke it in the hair shaft then I apply my Shea butter until it feels smooth then I twist my hair back up and that is my moisture routine every 3 to 4 days. I have noticed significant growth. It appears to be growing quite fast. I have not measured, but I have noticed that my twist are growing out and need to be done at a much faster rate than before. One crude way that I measure to gauge the speed is let’s say when I’m re-testing and it takes me 30 twist of two strands to get to the end of my hair. After two weeks that same twist would take 35 to 36 Twist of those same strands. I was amazed at this, and I can clearly see the difference in length of where my hair falls in my style.. Chebe not for the weak or the lazy. There is work involved, but the results are well worth it. Sahel brand was the first brand that I’ve used for this product. I did use another company when my first product went out and I noticed a big difference in the smell and texture and I chose to go back to the Sahel brand. One thing that I do regret is not using Sheba on my whole head when I first got it. I was reluctant because I thought if it doesn’t work, then I’m going to go bald and I would rather only go bald only one side of my head. Well, quite the opposite has happened. The side that I used the chebe on was growing faster than the side that didn’t have chebe and It was very noticeable. My kids asked if I cut my hair, which I didn’t. What they were noticing was the longer side was so much longer than the non-chebe side that it look like I hade cut it. It was I believe a full inch longer. Once I saw this, then I had regrets and immediately began using it on both sides of my hair. I do have hopes that when I stop using the chebe and have reached my desired hair length, that my hair will retain its strength and structure and not revert back to its weekend State prior to chebe. I did buy a whole lot of it so I do expect to be using this bag for good two years.

I started the chebe powder regimen 2.5 years ago. I was battling alopecia. I'm over 60 years old. I mix chebe powder with a leave in conditioner. I make sure my hair is wet. I apply the solution 3 times a week. I am amazed how my hair has grown. My hair has never been this length. I do not trim my hair any more.

My hair loves this stuff eventhough is super messy. I have been committed to using it the traditional way it's been 2 months, I can see the difference my hair is much softer, less shedding and less breakage. Will keep using it, i got the 1k bag and I know i will buy it again. I'm committed to see what a year can do using it regularly.
I started my Chebe journey a month ago and My hair feels softer and much in just a month! It feels fuller and stronger. I am definitely continuing on this journey and cant wait to see the results! I received a yellow envelope full of small packages of LITERAL DIRT! Do not purchase from here. African Imports the real Chebe Powder. I reported this company to my bank, FTC, and a fraud report.
Same great quality, made my own paste, turned out perfect. I have been buying from Miss Sahel since 2019. My hair has remained all its new growth. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Horrible customer service! I had two deliveries. The first package never made it to my house so, I kindly emailed them to see if I could simple add a new shipping address. They never replied and the next day, shipped it to the same address, which probably is the wrong address, on their part. Do yourself a favor and purchase your already made chebe from Protein Pouf, which has amazing products!!!!
Best hair care product I've purchased in year's. My hair has retained 2 inches of hair growth. I use it on my whole family and our hair so healthy.

I love it!☺️ I aways mix it with my hair creams, castor oil and Aragon oil.👍🏾 For years I’ve been natural and my 4C hair wasn’t growing. I realised it was breaking quicker/more than it was growing.😕 but ever since I used chebe, my hair doesn’t break, Retains more moisture, easier to detangle and just in the space of 2 months I’ve seen amazing results and hair growth🙌🏾

Hi ! Il m’a fallut deux ans pour écrire cela j’voulais donner un avis tres pertinent et objectif ! J’ai débuté la cure en 2023 au bout d’un an j’ai remarqué que mes cheveux poussaient à une vitesse grand V mais je me suis rendu compte qu’a avec le temps j’avais perdu en densité , j’ai un cheveux 3C et j’avais choisi cettz poudre car je voulais renforcer et hydrater et stopper la chute afin de stimuler la pousse ! J’ai dù stopper complètement les masques au chebé car mee cheveux ne bouclaient plus ils étaient devenus tres sec je précise que je suis en très bonne santé et que je pratique un souper régulièrement et que mes analyses sanguines sont tres bonnes je n’ai aucune carence en fer ni magnésium ! Je viens tout juste de récupérer mes boucles grâce aux huiles de ricin avocat jojoba il m’a fallut trois mois pour récupérer mes boucles cette poudre ést de tres bonne qualité et elle fait pousser les cheveux mais je ne sais pas si elle est adapté aux cheveux de type 3C au début ça n’a pas eu d’impact sur mes boucles mais au bout d’un an et demi mes cheveux sont devenus comme de la paille ! Je pense que le chebé convient tres bien aux cheveux afro mais sur dss cheveux bouclés et wavy je ne sais pas trop ! En tout cas j’ai commandé 1 Kilo et je pense que je le donnerai à une amie africaine Pour moi le chebé a ete une belle expérience mais je crois que mes cheveux n’ont pas trop aimée au bout d’un an j’ai perdu mes boucles et c’est le seul point négatif de cette poudre !

I've been using this Chebe powder since April 2025 and has seen GREAT results (length). I'm planning on using this for a full year!! On my journey to waist length hair, right now 16inches long.
I’ve already written a 5 star review, but I have no problem writing another…which is rare for me. This product is absolutely fantastic. I use it on my hair but now on one of my daughter’s hair. We both love the scent when applied to hair. I don’t suggest sniffing it from the big. Anyway, since I’ve used it for more than 2 years I have definitely maintained length. I was stuck at just past shoulder length, but I’m now at bra-strap length. I’m not stopping there. I’m going to keep going. My daughter hasn’t used it as long as I have, but since she noticed my length she wanted to make hers even longer and healthier. Will always buy from this company and long as she sells it. Also, great customer support.

I got the bigger bag, it’s a lot of products I'm using it in my deep conditioner. I’ve not use it long enough to say what it has to my hair yet.

I never leave comments but I felt O needed to this time. I've tried to use chebe in different ways for years without really seeing the real potential of the herbs. One day I used an oil infused on my hair before having it braided with synthetic hair. The braider kept complaining about the chebe on my hair but I asked her not to worry about it, but I had no particular expectations. A month and so later when I unravelled my braids, my hair was so big I couldn't believe it. Since then I started doing mini twists with my natural hair with the chebe paste and reapplying the paste at least once a week until wash day. My hair has never been this full and this long. I have medium density and fine strands, but I did not realize how much breakage I had until I started using the chebe. My best friend is now doing the same regimen and she keeps thanking me for encouraging her to use the chebe this way. I want to thank the chadian women for sharing their secret with all of us. Thank you Sahel cosmetics.

I am yet to recieve my order… however I sent several mails to the contact email to cancel my order the day I ordered as I didn’t want it anymore yet emails have been unresponsive for over a week!!! The customer care is just unbelievable!
